Pamela Davis Bragg, 60, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday March 8, 2017 at her residence following a sudden illness. Born August 31, 1956, Pam was a lifelong resident of Dawsonville. She was a 1974 graduate of Forsyth County High School and also earned a bachelor’s degree from North Georgia College. After college she worked for a number of years for the Northeast Georgia Judicial Circuit in Gainesville. Pam retired from the Department of Family and Children Services in Dawson County where she worked for over 25 years. She also currently served as the vice chair of the Planning Commission for the City of Dawsonville. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she is preceded in death by her mother, Anne T. Davis and granddaughter, Adalyn Bragg. Surviving are her husband, Stephen Bragg, Dawsonville; children, Kayla Bragg, Lynsey Arp, Chuck Bragg, Chad Bragg, all of Dawsonville; father, John Davis, Dawsonville, brother and sister in law, Tim and Shirley Davis, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Ashley, Blake, Hannah, Ava; great granddaughter, Sophia; a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 11, 2017 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jason Hamby, Rev. Cory Gilleland, and Rev. Kenneth Allison will officiate. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday.
