Randall Scott Owen, 44, of Dawsonville passed away Monday September 16, 2019. Born May 19, 1975, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. He was formerly employed by Vertical Earth and enjoyed hunting and camping. Surviving are his mother, Sharlene Cleveland, Gainesville; father, James Randall Owen, Dawsonville; sister and brother in law, Angela and Everett Gilbert, Missouri; grandmother, Wilda Pirkle, Dawsonville; nephews, Uriah Gilbert and Ansel Gilbert; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 21, 2019 at 1 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chris Segars will officiate. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
