Randy Gene Fausett, 59, of Dawsonville passed away Friday April 8, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health. Born December 20, 1956 to the late Randell and Doris Fausett, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. A graduate of Dawson County High School and Pickens Tech, Randy owned and operated Amicalola Appliance Repair. An accomplished musician, he played in various musical groups and was a founding member of the local group, Little Mountain. A member of Goshen Baptist Church, he was also preceded in death by a son, Jake Eugene Fausett. Surviving are his son, Zachery Fausett; the mother of his children, Roxanne Fausett Howard; special aunt, Brenda Gilreath, all of Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday April 10, 2016 at 3 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Russell Burt will officiate. Interment will follow in the Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery.
