Renee Hardin

Renee Hardin, 85, of Cumming passed away Wednesday April 30, 2014 at Gracemont Assisted Living following a period of declining health. Born March 26, 1929 in High Point, NC to the late Riley Augustus and Ethel Roberta Deaton, she had lived in Forsyth County since 2005 having moved from Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. Mrs. Hardin was a homemaker and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Deaton; and brother, Maynond Deaton. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Harold G. Hardin, Sr., Cumming; children, Joy and Martin Jones, Peachtree City, Janet and Bill Manke, Acworth, Hal and Shelly Hardin, Cumming; grandchildren, Todd Jones, Grayson, Brian Jones, LaGrange; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 3, 2014 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charles Blackstock and Rev. Todd Jones will officiate.
