Warner Robins- Thomas Lee “TreeGuy” Thompson, Jr., 31, passed away unexpectedly in West Palm Beach, Florida while working with the hurricane cleanup. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 am in Burpee-Scott Chapel. The visitation will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Tommy was born on March 2, 1986 in Flint, Michigan to his proud parents, Thomas Lee Thompson, Sr. of Byron and Deborah Smith Thompson of Burton, Michigan. He worked as an arborist for most of his life and was well known as the “TreeGuy”. Tommy was an auxiliary member of the DAV. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends, while laughing and making them laugh. He was a huge fan of the Michigan Wolverines and the Detroit Lions. In addition to his parents, Tommy is survived by his wife, Ashley Leilani Skabialka Thompson of Warner Robins; daughter: Madison Thompson; step-son: Hunter McPherson; sister: Amanda Thompson of Warner Robins; maternal grandmother: Peggy Smith of Warner Robins; paternal grandmother: Sarah Thompson of Warner Robins; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
