Bill Massey

Mr. Willie "Bill" Conder Massey, age 82 of 102 Massey Subdivision Road, Hartwell, Ga., entered into rest on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center, Anderson. Born October 26, 1935 in Hart County he was the son of the late Joel Preston (JP) Massey and Ruby Stovall Massey. He was a retired painter in the construction industry and of the baptist faith. He is survived by; his wife, Louise Kotal Massey of the home, children, Shirley Partain (David) of Hartwell, Ga., Margaret Vassar (Wallace) of Hartwell, Ga., Wayne Massey (Gail) of Hartwell, Ga., siblings, Herb Massey, Preston Massey, Gloria Norris and JoAnn Brown, all of Hartwell, Ga., and Larry Massey, Anderson, S.C. and his best friend, Aaron Worley of Hartwell. Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sandy Massey Hugley and grandson, Derrick Wilson. The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends Friday evening 5:30-7:30. A private burial will be held at Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The family will be at the home, 102 Massey Subdivision Road, in Hartwell. Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Massey family.
