Edith Hulme

Mrs. Edith Elaine Jones Hulme, age 73 of Omaha Drive in Elberton, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at AnMed Health. She was born on October 30, 1947 in Iva, S.C., to the late William Jones and Estella Payton Jones. Edith obtained a business degree from Athens Technical College and retired from the garment industry and later she worked for Ingles Stores in Hartwell. She was a faithful member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, Bible Study Class and Choir. She is survived by; her son, Allen (Angela) Hulme of Elberton, Ga., sisters, Patricia Cox, Geraldine Adams and Bertha West. Grandchildren, Johnathan, Allie, Landon, and Bentley Hulme. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerry Hulme and siblings, Junior Jones, Sandra Bond and Lucille Davis. In accordance to her wishes, Edith was cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
