Gerald Temple

Mr. Gerald Haynes Temple, age 82 of 3564 Anderson Highway, Hartwell, Ga. went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born on September 26, 1937 in Hartwell to the late Arthur Haynie Temple and Willie Mae Stovall Temple, he was retired and worked a number of years for the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. He was a member of the National Guard and Oak Bower Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Seigler Temple of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Durwin Temple. Cryptside services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Two o'clock from Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Rev. Tommy Cleveland will officiate. Entombment will follow. the body is at the funeral home and will lie in state Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m. for those that would like to pay their respects. Due to the health risk of Covid-19 their will be no formal visitation. The family will be at the home. Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, 333 E.
