Mr. James "Jay" Edward Young, age 67 of 2569 Reed Creek Highway, Hartwell, Ga., entered into rest on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at his home. He was born April 20, 1950 in Seattle, WA and worked most of his life as a machinist in the oil industry. He was a Christian and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the last member of his immediate family, and was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Arlene Young. Jay's wishes were to be cremated and the family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Coile and Hall Funeral Directors, 333 E. Johnson Street in Hartwell will be serving the Young family.
