Mr. Josh Lee Barron, age 24 of Carnesville, Ga., entered into rest on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his home. Josh was born on November 27, 1991 in Alpharetta, Ga. He was employed with Indian Creek Angus Farm,.and was an Honor Graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Biological Science, he was winner of the National Science Fair FFA for two years and was a recipient of the Farm Bureau Agricultural Scholarship. Josh recently hiked the Appalachian Trail and was of the baptist faith. He is survived by; father, Dennis Barron, Sr., of Carnesville, Ga., mother, Joy Haley and her husband, Doug of Hartwell, Ga, his girlfriend, Jennifer Pointer, Carnesville, Ga., sisters, Natalie Barron Floyd and her husband, Tyler of Hartwell, Ga.,Laura McCook and her husband, Donnie of Cumming, Ga., brother, Dennis Barron II of Carnesville, Ga., grandparents, Opal Shealy, Larry and Linda Haley, all of Hartwell, Ga. Great-Grandparents, Alice Haley of Hartwell, Ga., and Mozelle Stowe of Eastanollee, Ga. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jesse and Mildred Barron and Anderson Thackston and great grandfathers Joe Haley and Rev. J.W. Stowe. Services celebrating the life of Josh will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Three O'Clock p.m. at The Way Church, 1332 Airline-Goldmine Road, Canon, Ga. Rev. Tommy Childress and Mr. Ricky Hicks will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Honorary attendees will be, John Foster, Trevor Correia, Dalton Haden, Derek Haden, Maverick Bryant, Joey Towler and Dennis Barron III.
