Kendall "Wesley" Norris

Mr. Kendall Wesley Norris, 56 of Hartwell, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 after an extended illness. Born in Hartwell on January 24, 1960 he was the son of Gloria Massey Norris and the late Tom Norris. He was an employee of Tenneco Automotive for 26 years, and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and racing. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Brittany Clark and her husband John; Brittany’s mother, Teresa Norris, grandsons, Gage and Austin Clark, sister, Malinda Norris Heaton (Calvin), brothers, Steve Norris, Tony Norris (Missy), and Greg Norris (Cindy), and several nieces and nephews, he is also survived by an uncle, Preston Massey, with whom he shared a special relationship and special family friend, Sam Pickens. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.P. and Ruby Stovall Massey and Carlton and Dolly Thrasher Norris. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Three O’Clock p.m. from the chapel of Coile-Hall-Spagnoli Funeral Home with Mr. Fred Greenway and Rev. Tommy Cleveland officiating. A private burial will be at New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Gloria Norris, 167 Shallow Creek Road, Hartwell, and at the home of Brittany Clark, 487 Green Meadows Road, Hartwell, Ga.
