Larry Heaton

Mr. Larry David Heaton, age 76 of 180 E. Franklin Street in Hartwell, Ga., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at his home. He was born on February 26, 1943 in Royston, Ga., to the late Roy P. Heaton and Louise Jordan Heaton. He was a tool and die maker with Tenneco, also he was a crop duster and owned H & H metal products a business in Union, S.C. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran in naval aviation where he did bomber drill runs. He was an avid fisherman, loved to fly and riding motorcycles and cooking out. He was a member of Hartwell First Baptist Church. He is survived by; his wife, JoAnn Pfaender Heaton of the home, daughter, Edna DeeAnn Moore of Hartwell, siblings, Charles Heaton of Hartwell, Ga., and Carol Warhola of Anderson, S.C. granddaughter, Georgia Ann Moore and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Larry Heaton will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019 at Eleven o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Rev. Benson Bottoms officiating. Private burial will be held at Northview Cemetery. The family is at the home and will greet friends and family on Monday, September 2, 2019 thirty minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
