Miss Leekira Ronnissa Gaines, age 28 of 71 Colfax St., Hartwell, Ga., entered into rest on July 13, 2017 at AnMed Medical Center. She was born May, 11, 1989 in Clarke County, GA. She was the daughter of Mr. Ron Leverette and Mrs. Satira Gaines Leverette of Hartwell. She was a member of both First Baptist Church and Sardis Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Usher Board. Leekira was a 2008 Graduate of Hart County High School. She is survived by her Parents, Sister, Etronda Leverette of Athens, Brothers, Royauntavious Duvale Tate and his wife Katty of Stapleton, GA and LeeJarred Leverette of Hartwell, grandfather, Howard Gaines of Hartwell, nieces, Amari Tate, Skylynn Tate, and Terriauna Chapman, nephew, Tyquerious Chapman and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her son, DonTavious Gaines, grandparents, James and Rosie Lee Leverette and Gwendolyn Gaines. Celebration of Life funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Three o’clock p.m. from the sanctuary of Hartwell First United Methodist Church. Ministers Dr. Marcus Sturgeon, Pastor George Scott, Pastor Jeannette Scott and presiding pastor Dr. R. Allen Stewart will officiate. The family will be at the home, 71 Colfax Street in Hartwell.
