Mr. Michael J. Ortiz, age 59 of Columbus Drive in Homer, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 9, 1955 in Gainesville, Ga., to Salvadore and Evelyn L. Ortiz. He was manager of a medical transport company and of the Catholic Faith. Surviving are his wife, Vivian C. Ortiz, children, Jade, Angela and Sean, siblings, Alex, Alan, Linda, Christopher and Laura.along with four grandchildren. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
