Mrs. Mollie Heard, age 90 of 49 Maxwell Dr. in Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born in Hart County, GA on April 20, 1930, the daughter of the late Mr. MC Allen and Evalena Maxwell Allen. She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Shiloh CME Church in Dewy Rose, GA. Her lifetime occupation was as a homemaker; loving and caring for her family. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Maris (Larry) Hardman of Elberton, Vanessa Thornton of Hartwell, Kimbla (Daryl) Rucker of Hartwell and Irvin (Nikki) Heard of Anderson ,SC; eleven grand children and thirty two great-grand children and 6 great great grand children;. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Heard; daughter, Lucinda Mattox; son, Charlie Edward Heard; brothers, John Mac Allen and Bennie Allen; sisters, Sally Roebuck, Blanche Stowers, Addie Merritt, Ruby Baker, Emma Turner and Leila Morrison. The funeral service for Mrs. Heard will be held at 11 o'clock AM, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in the chapel of the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. The family is requiring that all in attendance wear masks and observe social distancing. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Heard will lie in state on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from 1 PM - 4:30 PM at the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. The family has entrusted Coile and Hall Funeral Directors and Cremations, 333 E.
