Tammy Kay Obituary

Miss Tamara Renee "Tammy" Kay, age 56 of 118 College Avenue in Hartwell, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Hart Care Center surrounded by her family and friends. Born February 15, 1960 in Hartwell, Ga., she was former Market Manager with Ingles for 30 years and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Anderson University receiving her associates degree. She is survived by; her mother, Ver-Non Chastain Kay of Hartwell, brother, Brooks Kay of Atlanta, Ga., her special life friends; Missy Sanders of Hartwell, Ga., Michelle Karrer and her children, Ryan and Hope Elizabeth in whom was their "Nam-Tam" and a host of other family members also survive. Most importantly is who Tammy was - never enough words. She loved her family and friends with all her heart. A most amazing warrior the last few years in life. She said "if you don't believe in God, look at me". She was such a miracle on many levels and gave God glory through all she endured and to her most brave moments before passing to take Jesus' hand. Selfless, giving, compassionate, loving, fiercely stubborn for her beliefs and gave 200% in all she did! Tammy's priceless attribute was she always kept her word, cared for all in need, had an endless love and took care of all animals she could.
