William Cartee

Mr. William Randolph “Randy” Cartee, age 76, of 116 Cartee Johnson Rd, Hartwell, GA, entered into rest on June 2, 2017 at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. Mr. Cartee was born in Anderson, SC on April 18, 1941, and was the son of the Late Mr. Sydney P. Cartee and Agnes Owens Cartee. He was retired having worked at Hartwell Garment Co. for 38 years as a cutter and truck driver. He was a member of Abundant Life Baptist Church; where he enjoyed serving as a greeter and greatly loved fishing. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Betty Richardson Cartee of the home, daughters, Janice Whitfield and her husband Ronald of Hartwell, Wanda Bailey and her husband Scotty of Hartwell, Tammy Roberson and Tony Ledford of Carnesville, and Angela Wood and her husband Chuck of Hartwell; grandchildren, Thomas Whitfield, Garrett Bailey and his wife Kristen, Dillon Bailey, Dustin Huff, Zachary Huff, Kyle Ledford and Zac Wood. The funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Cartee will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017, 11:00 am at Abundant Life Baptist Church. Rev. Ken Brewer, Mr. Fred Greenway and Rev. Kenny Owens will officiate. The body will lie in state at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park of Hartwell. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 4, 2017, from 5-8:00 pm at the Coile Hall Spagnoli Funeral Home, 333 E.
