Mrs. Noreen Elizabeth Spencer, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away at her residence on Sunday, January 26, 2020 after a brief illness. She was 61. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 12 noon at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 4255 Wade Green Road NW, Bldg 300 Suite 320, Kennesaw, Georgia 30144. Mrs. Spencer was born January 25, 1959 in Oceanside, New York to the late John Michael Maher and Catherine Patricia Varley Maher. Mrs. Spencer was preceded in death by her father, John Maher in 2017, also a step-son, Luke Spencer in 2014. Survivors include her husband, Steven Spencer, Woodstock, GA; two sons, Brian Pope (Ashley), Woodstock, GA. and Christopher Pope (Allie), Tallahassee, FL; one step daughter, Ginger Spencer, Norcross, GA; her mother, Catherine P. Maher; one sister, Terry Burns, Roswell, GA; one brother, Tom Maher, Marietta, GA; father-in-law, Capt Robert W. Spencer Retired, Baton Rouge, LA; mother-in-law, Patricia L. Spencer, Florida; 5 grandchildren, Micah Pope, Evelyn Pope, Gabe Pope, Rosie Pope, Tommy Pope and Sage Spencer; nephews and niece, Bobby, Abbey, and Billy Burns; Grand nephews and niece, Rocky Nash, Gunner Burns, Bennett Burns, and Brinley Burns Online condolences may be made at www.poolefuneralhome.net
