Ernest Pat Peshlakai, Sr.
November 29, 1959 – December 27, 2018
Ernest Peshlakai, Sr., 59, of Kailua-Kona, passed December 27, 2018, at his home. He was a member of the Navajo and Chiricahua Apache tribes and born on November 29, 1959. He lived on the Navajo Reservation, near the Wupatki National Monument, Arizona, until he was 11 years old when he was placed in the LDS church placement program and left his native homeland.
In the late,1970’s he relocated to Hilo, HI employed as a collision body repair mechanic. In 1995, he moved to Kona, HI where he worked as an electrician. In 1999, his declining health required his early retirement.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Penny Peshlakai; son, Ernest Peshlakai, Jr., Kristen Peshlakai and Tyler Peshlakai all of Kailua-Kona. 3 grandchildren of Kailua-Kona and 3 brothers and 3 sister and numerous nieces and nephews of Arizona.
