Kathleen F. Cook 70, of Lewiston
Kathleen F. Cook passed away on February 20, 2012, at the age of 70, after a year-long battle with cancer. She battled strong and hard, which is a true testament to her character.
Kathy was a loving and devoted mother, friend and Nana. She was born and raised in the valley. She graduated from Lewiston high school in 1959 and later received her degree from Kinman Business University in Spokane. Kathy was an extremely talented artist, crafter and gardener. Her hands always busy making beautiful art for her family, loved ones and complete strangers. Giving – her source of true happiness.
Kathy also loved baking, enjoyed dancing with friends, and spending hours combing the Oregon and Washington coast for rocks that would be transformed into spectacular art.

Preceding Kathleen in death are her parents, Loyd and Murriel Cook, sisters; Dorothy Springer, and Vivian Ward, and a grandson, Blake Weyel.
Surviving Kathleen are Ron & Pam Weyel of Lewiston, Ken Weyel of Seattle, Grandchildren - Shane Weyel, Brenna Weyel, Nico von Tscharner – Weyel, Kate von Tscharner- Weyel Brother Don Cook of Lewiston brother Clarence Cook of Lenore and many nieces and nephews.
