After high school, she attended business school in Merritt Island. In 1967, Pamela married Richard Joseph Gilliland. Two treasured children were born of this union: the oldest son Michael Anthony Gilliland at Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa Beach, Florida, in1969 and Joel Louis Gilliland at Holloman Air Force Base, Alamogordo, New Mexico, in 1972. Pamela began her work in the grocery industry at Safeway grocery store. Her career brought her from Tucson, AZ to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and finally to Lewiston, Idaho. Pamela worked for Safeway, Smith's, and in Lewiston at Rosauer's Super Market. She was proud of her occupation, and Pam valued working colleagues among her closest friends. On November 8, 1999, Pamela married her longtime friend, Frank Shull. They were married in their church, Valley Christian Assembly of God. In 2004, Pamela and Frank joined Abundant Life church in Clarkston, Washington. Pamela was the foundation of their faithful church attendance. Pamela's strong faith was a testimony to many. Friends remember most, her beautiful smile and the sharing of her deep love for Jesus.
