Obituary for Pamela Lou Shull

Pamela Lou Shull, age 62, passed away June12, 2012, in her home. Pamela was born December 14, 1949, the second half of a set of twins, born in Raleigh, N.C. to Louis and Addie Campbell. Pamela grew up and attended school in Fuquay Varina, N.C., until her junior high school years when she moved with her family to Merritt Island, Florida. After high school, she attended business school in Merritt Island. In 1967, Pamela married Richard Joseph Gilliland. Two treasured children were born of this union: the oldest son Michael Anthony Gilliland at Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa Beach, Florida, in1969 and Joel Louis Gilliland at Holloman Air Force Base, Alamogordo, New Mexico, in 1972. Pamela began her work in the grocery industry at Safeway grocery store. Her career brought her from Tucson, AZ to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and finally to Lewiston, Idaho. Pamela worked for Safeway, Smith's, and in Lewiston at Rosauer's Super Market. She was proud of her occupation, and Pam valued working colleagues among her closest friends. On November 8, 1999, Pamela married her longtime friend, Frank Shull. They were married in their church, Valley Christian Assembly of God. In 2004, Pamela and Frank joined Abundant Life church in Clarkston, Washington. Pamela was the foundation of their faithful church attendance. Pamela's strong faith was a testimony to many. Friends remember most, her beautiful smile and the sharing of her deep love for Jesus. Church was dear to her, but she faced the burden of becoming home-bound as she had all other burdens, with dignity, faith, and joy. During her declining health, Pamela was lovingly cared for by her husband Frank, and Sylvia Weissenfels. At the end of her life, her loving sister and husband were at her side.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Addie Campbell and stepson Frank Shull. Pam leaves behind her husband, Frank, her sons Michael and Joel, three grandsons, Nathan, Anthony, and Brandon all of Pensacola, Florida, step son's Jason Shull and family, Juneau, AK. and John Shull and family, Moscow, ID, her twin sister, Sandra Campbell, Four Oaks, NC, and her older sister, Jean Baker, Coldwater, Mississippi.
