Mr. Virgil Ray leaves to cherish his memory one son, Anthony M. Thornton; two brothers, Henry L. Morgan of Memphis, TN and Carl Thornton of Greenville, MS; four sisters, Mattie M. Thornton and Lucy Thornton both of Indianola, MS, Eddie M. Broaden of Caseyville, IL and Debra A. Tate of Greenwood, MS; three aunts, two uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
