Daniel F. Saunders passed away October 12, 2016 from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease). His wife, Ann, and son, Cory, wish to thank the many family and friends who have supported Dan for the past two years as he suffered from ALS. Dan has generously donated his brain, spinal cord and nerves to the University of Chicago for further research in hopes of finding a cure or treatment for ALS. Dan has chosen to be cremated. At this time, there is no service planned, instead our hope is for each of you to embrace your loved ones and do a gentle act of kindness for another as a gesture to acknowledge Dan’s passing.
