Etanislao Vazquez, 88, December 27, 2017, longtime resident of the southwest side of Chicago, of West Elsdon neighborhood, devoted father of Luz Maritza (Ezequiel), Nancy Vazquez-Caban (Roberto) and Anthony (Helen) Vazquez; loving grandfather of 10; great grandfather of 4; fond son of the late Silverio and Paula Tirado Vazquez; dear brother of Hilda, Lydia, and Gregoria, preceded in death by Juan Vazquez, Pedro Vazquez and Pablo Vazquez; uncle and cousin of many. Mr. Vazquez was a born again Christian and member of Vision Celestial church, and that until he parted that he praised the Lord. He was a very funny man and always made people laugh. He is loved by all who knew him. Mr. Vazquez had a true passion for cooking and for his garden. No one was a better cook than Mr. Vazquez, who not only enjoyed cooking for his family using vegetables from his garden, was a professional cook at several hotels. He loved to share his garden vegetables and food with the animals and birds and squirrels he loved so much and will surely miss him. Resting at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S.
