Rolando Araujo Obituary

Rolando Araujo, 29, passed away on July 30, 2020. He was a lifetime resident or the Southside of Chicago, Garfield Ridge-Clearing neighborhoods; beloved son of Lucia Rocha; devoted, loving father of his two year old daughter Anais Ava Araujo who he shared with his fiancé Natalia Rys; cherished brother of Joshua, Jesse, Nick, Angelina and Adolfo; devoted uncle and a friend to many. Rolando was a carpenter and proud member of the Carpenters Local Union 1185. He is the eldest son of Lucia and was known to all as the “fix it all man”. Whenever there was a problem to remedy he was always called upon. He loved his mother’s cooking, his favorite dish of hers was enchiladas. Rolando enjoyed spending time with his daughter, fiancé, family, and friends at cook outs, social gatherings, and attending the games of his favorite sports team “The White Sox”. He always knew how to make an entrance wherever he went; putting smiles on everyone around him, always caring for others. Services at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S.
