Donna Sue Felts, 73, of Johnston City, passed away at 9:07 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2018 at Evelyn’s House-Hospice Care Center in Creve Couer, Missouri. Donna was born January 11, 1945 in Marion to William Edward and Lora Ludene (Blackburn) Morgan. She married Larry Felts on June 2, 1990 in Johnston City. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2002. Donna was retired, having been employed by the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion where she was a cook for several years. She is survived by two daughters; Kimberly (Edward) Prater of Murphysboro and Patricia (Michael) Logan of Altamont; two grandchildren, Paige and Craig Logan of Altamont; two brothers, Michael (Dianna) Morgan and William (Mary) Morgan of Marion; step-sister, Shirley (Mike) Barlow of Goreville. She is also survived by three nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Pete Hindman; sister, Barbara Abney and her aunt, Mildred Holmes Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at Herrin City Cemetery with Pastor Robbey Smith officiating. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery. Pyle Funeral Home in Johnston City is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Night’s Shield.
