Ruby C. Holland, 77, passed away at the Integrity Nursing Home in Carbondale, Illinois. She was born on December 27, 1942, in Steeleville, Illinois, to Charles and Virginia (McClure) Schwebel. Ruby had worked at the Brown Shoe Factory, Gilster-Lee, SIU-Carbondale, and had last worked as a In Home Care Giver. Mrs. Holland had been a member of the Great Life Sanctuary in Benton. Ruby had married Billy Edward Crisler and he preceded her in death in December of 1969, and she had married Charles Holland and he preceded her in death in November of 1989, She is survived by three children Edward Crisler and his wife Lisa Crisler of Carbondale, Virginia Brayfield of Mayfield, KY, and Jeff Crisler of Royalton, IL; eight grandchildren William, Mary, Nicole, Brooke, Christina, Raymond, Danielle, and Alyson; one great grandson and one on the way; and two sisters Charlotte Tournear of Princeton, IL and Delorise Blake of Steeleville, IL. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one son in law Jonathan Brayfield, and her parents. Gravesite services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Camp Creek Cemetery with Rev, Mark Fitzpatrick officiating. There will be visitation from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the cemetery.
