Agnes Jean Rosier Obituary

Agnes Jean Rosier, nee Persenaire, passed away on September 3, 2013 at the age 86. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Douma and Phyllis Groot and by her brothers-in-law, John Groot and Earl Wolff. Jean was the beloved wife of John for 65 years, the loving mother of Debra (Barry) Bandstra and Kimberly (Walter) Ottenhoff, the cherished grandmother “Donno” of Adam (Lucy) Bandstra, Jonathan Bandstra, Daniel (Mary) Bandstra, Walter IV (Mollie) Ottenhoff and Jane (Joel) Kostelyk and the devoted great-grandmother of Grady and Stella Kostelyk, Wally and Vivi Ottenhoff and Peter Bandstra. Jean will be missed by her sisters Dorothy (Wendell) Yonker, June Wolff, Donna (John) Leo, her brother Charles (Phyllis) Persenaire, and brother-in-law Con Douma. She will also be missed by her many devoted nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Mission India, P.O. Box 141312, Grand Rapids, MI 49502. Each dollar contributed will send a child to a two-week Bible school to learn about Jesus’ saving grace. Interment Friday, September 6, 2013, 9:30 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
