Anita J. Freund (née Koehne) suddenly September 3rd, at the age of "39 and holding". Beloved wife of the late Harold Freund. Devoted mother of Carol (Nicholas) Ralich and Darlene (James) Welling. Loving grandmother of Billy, Stacy, Jessica (Randall), and Nicole (Brian). Great grandmother to Shylee, Paxton, and fur baby Sasha. Fond sister of Alfred Koehne, Clarence Koehne, Mildred McDonald, Nola Trueblood, Henry Koehne and the late Reed Koehne, Katherine Powers, Marie Mateja, Anna Sandrie, Marion Revor, Ethel Schild, William Koehne, Wilbur Koehne and Ethan Koehne. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Loving ‘Ma Freund’ to her "adopted" daughters and granddaughter’. Anita will always be remembered for her loving and compassionate heart. She loved life and was the ‘energizer bunny’. Most of all, she loved her family deeply, and will be dearly missed by all! Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 2:30-4:30 pm, with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:30 p.m. at All Saints Lutheran Church, 13350 S. LaGrange Rd. Orland Park, IL 60462.
