Barbara Sapulich, nee Barczak, age 87, beloved wife of 58 years to the late George Sapulich (2013). Loving mother of Mary Anne Sapulich and Joseph (Cathy) Sapulich. Cherished grandmother of Joshua and Sarah. Dear sister of the late Edmund Barczak, Cecilia DeWitt, Adela Rucinski, Raymond Barczak, and Evelyn Seliga. As a young girl Barbara had always wanted to become a nun, but then met the love of her life and married in 1954. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Barbara's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She provided compassionate loving care to her husband George during his long illness. Barbara excelled at sewing, needlepoint, and crafts. She enjoyed reading mystery novels, cooking, and gardening. Visitation Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 3-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday, September 28, 2017, at 8:45 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to Queen of Martyrs Church, 10233 S.
