Carol A. DeHoog, nee Voss, age 74, beloved wife for 53 years to Gerald H. DeHoog. Loving mother of Amy (Gary) Stark, Scott DeHoog, Susan (John) Petraitis and Daniel (Elizabeth) DeHoog. Cherished grandmother of Henry and Hayley Stark; Allison and Katelyn Petraitis; Andrew and Christopher DeHoog. Dear sister of George (late Patricia) Voss, Nancy (Rick) Hollingsworth, Russ (Karla) Sytsma and the late Dave (Vivian) Sytsma. Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Carol dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She also helped raise several other children as she babysat in her home for many years after her own children got older. She loved to talk and to joke around with anyone and would often start conversations with strangers to talk about her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting events and would be the loudest cheerleader there for them. She will be missed by all who knew her.
