<p>Edwin Fortunato Valente, age 84, beloved husband for 59 years to Janet, nee Borke. Loving father of Paul (Mary), David (Carolyn) and Eric. Cherished grandfather of Alexia (Andrew) Valente Horton, Brandon and Ashley. Dear brother of Angeline Bernardi, Antoinette Bernardi and the late Irving Valente. Much loved uncle of many nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>Ed was a retired automotive claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance. </p><p><br></p><p>He always had a heart full of a joke and a song. He was always kind to everyone, full of stories and ready for mischief. The twinkle in his eye never faded and his legacy is strong. He lived and loved big and was loved back so much. He fought long and hard, and there was no one like him. Life will never be the same without him. He will always be loved and deeply missed. </p><p><br></p><p>Due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding COVID-19 and for the safety of the family and community, a private Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 10:45 a.m. at Colonial Chapel. While this service is limited to Ed's immediate family, a live-stream will be available.
