Grace A. Boersma, nee Togtman, went home to be with her Lord on October 25, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore “Ted”, mother of Dave (Pris), Carol (Jim) Evenhouse, Janet (late Rick) Kwantes, Theodore (Cheryl), Rev. Robert (Jan), Ken (Lisa), Debra (late John) Thatcher and Marge (Fred) Hayward. Beloved sister of Clara Togtman, the late Martha De Groot, Marguerite, Edna Huisenga, Jeanette “Nettie” Ebbens, Ray and Harold “Hoddy”. Sister-in-law of Ruth Togtman, Millie Hoving and Dorothy Boersma. Grandmother of 29 and great-grandmother of 33. She was a wonderful servant of her Lord, her family and her church. We praise God for the many blessings he gave us through her. Visitation Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 3-9 PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Lying in State Monday, October 28, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church, 7059 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL 60463. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL. In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted in her memory by the Southwest Chicago Christian School Foundation.
