James Yetter Orland Park, Illinois Obituary

James Yetter

James “Jim” John Yetter entered his eternal rest on October 10, 2017 at his home and now his faith has been made sight (Hebrews 4:9). He was preceded in death by his two sons, Joseph (2002) and Timothy (2000) who are in the presence of fullness of joy (Psalm16:11), and a sister, Jeanette Wagner (2010). Jim was a US Army Veteran. He was born September 27, 1946 in Chicago IL. He was a dependable and industrious employee of Commonwealth Edison, Chicago, for 33 years. Jim retired in 2002 and came to beautiful Northeast TN and was given his most fulfilling avocation of being a Bible Study Fellowship Discussion Leader for the past 10 years. He will be remembered as a faithful husband, loving father, caring brother and uncle, good friend and faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jim leaves behind a wife, Jolene, who mourns his loss, but not as one without hope (I Thessalonians 4:13); two siblings, Elaine Lotito and Robert Yetter; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service was held in Tennessee. Visitation and Burial will be held in Illinois on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a Graveside Service to follow at Orland Memorial Park Cemetery, 153rd Street & West Avenue, Orland Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartcry Missionary Society, 6226 University Park Drive, Radford, VA 24141.
