Lambert “Lam” Bere, Jr., age 90, of Orland Park, IL, is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior. Beloved husband of June, nee Nelson. Loving father of Cindy (Lew) Ten Have, Bruce (Margaret) Bere and the late Lambert “Skip” Bere III. Cherished grandfather of Ryan (Breanne), David, Benjamin and Todd Ten Have; Bruce Robert (Lauren), Scott and Brian Bere. Dearest great-grandfather of Cash, Parker, and Blakely Ten Have. Dear brother of Marion (late John Brink and late Tom) Preston and the late James (Barbara), Paul (late Jeanne) and Harold "Joey". Adored brother-in-law of Violet (late Warren Brinkman and late Jens) Nielsen, Elinor (late Jack) Broberg, Ruth (late Leon) Ericson, Claire (Bud) Hamlin and the late Elmer (late Laverne) Nelson, Gideon (late Amy) Nelson, Jay (late Genevieve), and Norm (late Britt). Fond uncle and great-uncle of many. Lambert died on January 26, 2012. In his retirement, he spent 20 years in Sun City West and in Shorewood Hills, MI. Lambert served active duty in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Reserves for 20 years. He was a self-employed builder and entrepreneur. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Community Church, 13400 Bell Road, Lemont, IL.
