Wesley W. "Wes" Christensen, age 75, US Army Veteran, passed away suddenly. Beloved husband and best friend for 48 years to Kathleen, nee Panozzo. Loving father of Katherine (Robert) Stenander, Jeannine Christensen and Kristine Christensen. Cherished Papa of grandchildren Jack Wesley, Ryan, Hope and Thomas. Dearest brother of Conrad (late Marjorie) Christensen, the late Lois (late Gerhart) Derkovits, the late Doris (late Norman) Derkovits, the late Neale (Marge) Christensen and the late Wayne (Lisbeth) Christensen. Dear brother-in-law of Larry (Susan) Panozzo. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Smith, Bucklin & Associates (SBA). After retiring from SBA, Wes became the Director of the Small Business Development Center and an adjunct professor in the Business Department at Moraine Valley Community College (MVCC), at which time the CEO Roundtable for local business owners was established. He continued his service as a leader and facilitator of the roundtable throughout the years. Most recently, he was appointed as President of the Calumet Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants.
