Connie F. Deckard, 72, Bloomington, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Connie was born December 27, 1947 in Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of Lee and Dorothy (Alltop) Lucas.

Connie was a homemaker and formerly drove a School Bus. She was a member of Burgoon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon Deckard; three sons, Edward Deckard, Bobby (Marla) Deckard and Lloyd Deckard all of Bloomington, Indiana; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lloyd Lucas.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at The Funeral Chapel with Pastor Harold Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Smithville, Indiana
