Mallory Paige Pemberton was born June 10, 1988 in Bloomington, Indiana to parents Stephanie Royer Saunders and David Pemberton. Mallory was an amazing young woman who instantly lit up any room the moment she entered it. She was beautiful, sassy and had a fantastic sense of humor. She was very quick with her unique, funny, sarcastic brand humor that often left us laughing until our sides hurt. Nobody could ever stay sad in her presence, she wouldn't allow it. With her hilarious sarcasm that came so effortlessly to her, she would have you laughing in no time, making it impossible for anyone to ever stay sad for long around her. Mallory was incredibly kind and had a big heart for others that made all who knew her love her. People gravitated quickly to Mallory. She was funny, friendly and very outgoing and could easily make new friends anytime, anywhere. Mallory always had a great number of friends, many from childhood. Mallory loved music, Led Zeppelin being her favorite band. This was obvious by the Led Zeppelin tattoo on her forearm that she loved. She enjoyed attending concerts for her favorite bands whenever she could and she loved playing her music loudly as she drove, singing along just as loudly, not caring at all that she couldn't really sing. She loved taking long walks on wooded trails, especially with her boys. She enjoyed many different kinds of crafts, and she was good at anything she ever attempted. She also was a very talented artist, when you could get her to draw for you, a talent she shared with her oldest brother. She loved coloring, often carrying around a huge bag of gel pens with every color imaginable, a hobby she often enjoyed when visiting her nieces. What Mallory loved most, though, was her family. Especially her three sons -- Caleb (13), Spenser (10) and Micah (3). She considered them to be the great loves of her life and they were what made her most happy. She had close relationships with her immediate family and often said her siblings she considered to be among her best friends. She enjoyed just "hanging out" with her sisters and brothers whenever she could. Her nieces and nephew adored their "Aunt MiMi" and she frequently exchanged messages and video calls with the older ones, often with encouragement for school work or a "good job" for an accomplishment they shared with her. Mallory never ended a call or visit with her family without a "love you" before parting. She will be so greatly missed by her family that loved and adored her every day of her life. Mallory is survived by her parents, Stephanie Royer Saunders (Jim Stierwalt) of Spencer and David and Lisa Pemberton of Ellettsville, her three, sons Caleb, Spenser and Micah, sisters, Jeanette (Randall) Blackwell of Crane, Allisann Jayne and Bobbi Burkhart both of Bloomington and brothers, Spenser Pemberton of Spencer and Blake Edwards of Fishers, grandparents, Bill & Becky Pemberton of Stinesville, Jim & Sherry Richcreek and Steve & Judy Royer all of Bloomington, great grandmother, Alma Jean Royer of Ellettsville, nieces, Hallie Dixon, Peyton, Madelyn, and Everly Blackwell and nephew, Jordan Dixon, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Carolee Manion of Texas, great grandparents, Floyd & Helen Pemberton of Bloomington and great grandfather, Glenn Royer of Ellettsville. A celebration of Mallory's life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10:30 am at The Ellettsville House of Prayer with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating.
