Ricky Cavinder
Ricky B. Cavinder, 57, of rural Decatur passed on to Gods loving Kingdom Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Adams Memorial Hospital. Ricky was born on May 24, 1952 in Lima, Ohio to the late Horace Bud and Mary (Tracey) Cavinder. He married Melanie L. Anspach on August 4, 1983. He was known to many as Rick the Junk Man, he hauled and worked with several construction crews and also worked at State Line Auto parts for a couple of years. Ricky is survived by his wife Melanie L. Cavinder of Decatur, IN; three sons Arthur Cavinder and Richard Cavinder both of Columbus, OH, Freedom Cavinder of Hamilton, OH; five daughters April Smith of Columbus, OH, Trinity Tavenner of Indian Lake, OH, Elizabeth Cavinder and Rebecca Cavinder both of Decatur, IN and Catherine Cavinder of Ft. Worth, TX; two half brothers Don Comer of Urbanna, OH and David Lawson of Morrow, OH; one sister Mrs. Dena (Dale) Benchoff of Ft. Wayne, IN and 20 grandchildren. Calling hours will be from 2-6 pm Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Haggard & Sefton Funeral Home followed by a 6:00 pm Funeral Service. Pastor Rex Grant will be officiating.
