Edna Jane Elkins Rumple Holsapple, 76, peacefully passed away in her home with her beloved husband of 46 years, Jay, by her side. Jane was born on February 9, 1936 in South Bend, to the late Cecil and Margaret Elkins. She spent most of her childhood in Mace, IN. She is a graduate of New Ross High School, and attended Purdue, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Phi Sorority. Jane worked at PCI and First Indiana Bank. After retiring, Jane continued to remain active in the community by volunteering at Community East Hospital. Anyone who knew Jane knew she was an excellent artist, seamstress and loved animals. She will be remembered most for her devotion to her family and the joy they brought her. Her family has been blessed to have had her love and guidance. We will miss her all of our days. She is survived by her husband, Jay; children, Debbie (Joe) Wade, Steve (Denise) Rumple, and Jeff (Kellie) Rumple; her sister, Joan (Don) Gravit; grandchildren, Max, Curtis, and Jack Wade and Stephanie, Morgan, and Jacob Rumple. Per her wishes, Jane will be cremated. Join us in celebrating her life at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, at Eastside Baptist Church, 2000 Traction Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
