Robert E. (Bob) Pearcy, 75, Fishers, passed away Saturday, May 5th, 2007 peacefully at his residence. He was born to the late Robert and Gertrude Pearcy. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt in the Korean War, receiving a Purple Heart, Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Service Stars, National Defense Service Medal, and a U.N. Service Medal. He was an Electrical Engineer with Western Electric (AT&T/Lucent) for 31 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of the VFW, and the Mud Creek Players, working backstage.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, June A. Pearcy; son, Steve Pearcy (Lisa); daughter, Lisa Birmingham (Scott); six grandchildren; sisters, Janet Cloud (Jim), Doris Clark (Danny). He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Pearcy.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 10 from 4 to 7 p.m., with Funeral Service to follow, at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis.
