Obituary for William Joe Hale

William J. Hale, Sr. passed away early morning on September 1st, 2012. William was born on November 6th, 1941 in Rensselaer, Indiana to Samuel Everett and Grace Stephens Hale. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Local 440 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for almost 50 years. William is survived by his wife Frances L. (Hall); children, William J. Hale, Jr., Ronald L. Hale; Dawn R. McConkey; Scott A. Hale; Andrew J. Hale; Joshua D. Hale; Meagan D. Barr; grandchildren, Alyssa Hale, Gunner Hale, Christopher Wagoner, Jessica Hale, Rachel Hale, Michael Hall, Amanda Hall, Andrew Hale, Ciarra Hale, Viola Hale, Kyuss Hale, Zoe Hale, Matthew Hale, Jason Hale, Garrett Hale, and Peyton Barr; six great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Ann McGuire of Redbluff, CA and Everett Hale of Brisbane, Australia; William is preceded in death by his father Samuel E. Hale, his mother Grace S. Hale and his siblings Edith Booth, Frank Hale, Betty Wireman, Roby Hale, Robert Hale, and Patricia Haynes. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Harry W. Moore 8151 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, Indiana. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with the funeral services following from 1p-2p on September 7th, 2012. William will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Cemetery located 9700 Allisonville Rd. Indianapolis, Indiana at the conclusion of the services. The Hale family requests in lieu of flowers, a monetary donation to Shawn Hoch and family to be made at the funeral home in William’s honor.
