John T. Perry

John T. Perry, age 82, of Bedford, Kentucky, formerly of Madison, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Born January 2, 1935 in Trimble County, Kentucky, he was the son of John Liter and Freida (Perry) Callis. On September 17, 1955, he was united in marriage to Anna Louise Davis in Louisville, Kentucky. He retired in 1977 as a truck driver from the City of Madison after many years of service. He will be sadly missed by one daughter, Karen Lovins and her husband, Troy of Bedford; one son, Trimble Wayne Perry and his wife, Cheryl of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; his mother, Freida Callis of Madison; two half-brothers: Lloyd Callis of Vevay, Indiana, and Donald R. Callis and his wife, Della of Madison; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; his wife on July 13, 2002; and three daughters: Kimberly Seidl on April 28, 2011, Beverly Fitzgerald on April 14, 2012, and Cathy Truman on August 2, 2016. The Reverend Mike Stephens will conduct funeral services at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, 423 West Main Street, Downtown Madison, with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday, September 15, 2017, and from 9:00 AM until time of service on Saturday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
