Ople Pearl Harmon, age 87, of Madison, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. She was born on August 1, 1929 in Trimble County, Kentucky, the daughter of Lloyd Lee and Mary Lee (Foster) Harmon. She retired as a cook and waitress from the former Main Grill Restaurant in Madison, and had worked for US Shoe Corp. and as a cab driver. She enjoyed embroidering, painting and living in the Hope Manner Community for thirteen years. She will be sadly missed by five sisters: Lena Frances McFarland of Vevay, Indiana, Byrle R. Westrick of Gallatin County, Kentucky, Nadiene McCain of Bedford, Kentucky, Joyce Romans of Madison, and Dianne Hensley of Carrollton, Kentucky; four brothers: Gail Harmon of Florence, Kentucky, Johnny Harmon of Milton, Kentucky, Steve Harmon of Hamilton, Ohio, and Keith Harmon of Bedford, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; three brothers; one niece, one nephew, and one great nephew. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery, Milton. Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Arthritis Association or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
