William Christopher Schwers

William Christopher "Chris" Schwers, age 57, of Madison, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at his residence. He was born on June 19, 1959 in Covington, Kentucky, the son of Dr. Larry Norton and Barbara Ann (Jones) Schwers. Mr. Schwers was a graduate of the Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, Kentucky, and held an associate degree in drafting. He was a self-employed craftsman, and had worked in the piano and airplane industries. He was Baptist by faith, a University of Kentucky fan, and enjoyed collecting marbles, antique fans, woodworking, Legos, and buying and selling antiques. He married Maria Elena on April 21, 2006. He will be sadly missed by his wife; one daughter, Skyler Schwers and her companion, Brandon of Madison; one son, William C. Schwers, II of Madison; one sister, Leslie Ann Grote and her husband, Rick of Madison; four grandchildren: Kadence and Evangeline Schwers, and Parker and Noelle Madden; and three nephews: Cameron Willoughby, and Eric and David Grote. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery, Milton, Kentucky. Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Main Street Chapel, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Saturday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Chris Schwers Memorial Fund to offset medical bills. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
