Dixie Lee Riley Obituary

Dixie Lee Riley, age 75, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Thornton Terrace Health Campus in Hanover. She was born October 4, 1941 in Madison, the daughter of Charles Allen Copeland, Sr. and Opal Reed Maloney. Mrs. Riley was a homemaker and a member of New Life Fellowship in Madison. She enjoyed crocheting, puzzles and loved the Chicago Cubs. She will be sadly missed by two sons: Norman Yocum, Jr. of Hanover, and Steven O. Stewart of Madison; one sister, Virginia Heller of Green Valley, California; two half-brothers: George C. Copeland and James L. Copeland, both of Madison; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles E. Riley; one son, Charles W. "Chuck" Yocum, Sr.; four brothers: Charles A. Copeland, Jr., Gary W. Copeland, Christopher P. Copeland, and Cecil E. Copeland; and one half-brother, John R. Regenold. The Reverend Scott Kollmann will conduct funeral services at 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison. Friends and family may call from 6 to 7 PM Wednesday at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made at any of the Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service locations.
