Marcella J. Ralston

Marcella J. Ralston, age 81, of Madison, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Hanover Health and Rehab Center in Hanover. Born May 10, 1934 in Madison, she was the daughter of Frank and Lorene Ross Clarkson. Mrs. Ralston was a life-long resident of Madison, and retired in 1999 as an assembler at Grote Industries after thirty-six years of service. She enjoyed fishing, decorating her home and her family. Survivors include her husband, John, to whom she was married in 1973 in Madison; three daughters: Marsha Boston and her companion, John Boldery of Hanover, Ileta McFarland of Hanover, and Marlene Merek and her husband, Mark of Madison; two step-daughters: Patty Guthrie and her husband, Kenny of Madison, and Debbie Garrett and her husband, Allen of Madison; one step-son, Tim Ralston of Madison; one sister, Betty Shelly of Hanover; eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Spry; one step-daughter, Pam Brindley; four sisters: Edith Hurt, Frances Thomas, Eleanor Owens and Wilma Austin; and three brothers: Floyd, Tony, and Jack Clarkson. Private services will be held at a later date. The Vail Chapel of Lytle Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
