Graveside services will be held in Missouri.<br><br> Barbara K. Ordiway the daughter of Charles E. and Rose S. (Danielson) Rost was born September 16, 1937 in Estherville, Iowa. She died on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake, Iowa at the age of 79.<br><br> She received her education and graduated from Estherville High School. She then attended the University of Iowa where she received her B.A. degree.<br><br> She was united in marriage to Kenneth Ordiway. Barbara worked for PWSD #1 of Stone County and served as their Office Manager for several years. Barbara was a teacher in Estherville and Missouri for 20 years. For hobbies, she enjoyed needlework and playing the piano.<br><br> She was a member of First Presbyterian Church; Elks Lodge and a University of Iowa Alumni.<br><br> Left to cherish Barbara's memory is her son, Jay Abel of Woodburn, Oregon.<br><br> She has been preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Bryce Abel and step-son, Keith Ordiway.<br><br>Obituary
