Venetta Elizabeth (DeMoss) Bunkofske the daughter of Frank and Darlene (Walker) DeMoss was born November 15, 1947 in Estherville, Iowa. She received her education and graduated from Estherville High School and later Iowa Lakes Community College. She died on Monday, April 24, 2017 at her home in Armstrong, Iowa at the age of 69.

On June 25, 1965 she was united in marriage to Darwin "Bunny" Bunkofske at the United Methodist Church in Estherville. Following their marriage the couple lived in Estherville for six years before moving to Armstrong in 1971. She worked at and owned VB's Corner Drive Inn in Armstrong. She then worked at Armour, Teledyne and Shopko in Fairmont. Venetta was a member of the United Methodist Church in Armstrong.

Venetta really liked to spoil and shop for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends at the casino.

Left to cherish Venetta's memory are her husband, Darwin; children, Joey and his Fiance Paige of Armstrong and Robert and his wife Heather of Tea, South Dakota; 5 grandchildren: Alison, Dawson, Madisen, Parker, and Adalyn; sister, Rosemary (Tony) Petersen of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.

She has been preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters: Lois (Eldon) Skattebo and Charleen (Don) Trosin; father-in-law; mother-in-law; 8 brothers-in-law and 6 sisters-in-law.
