Le Mars, Iowa – Ruth Parkinson, 99, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at her son’s home in Vienna, Virginia. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Mauer Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa. Pastor Fred Gums of the Le Mars Bible Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Le Mars. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. The family will be present from 5-7 p.m. Visitation will resume at 9:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
